Water enters the system through the holes tapped into the base of the walls and flows through the Drain Main System to the sump pump. The Basement Drain Main is constructed entirely of PVC material and adapts flawlessly to all contours on the job site. All the benefits add up to BIG savings, LESS materials, FEWER man hours, and REDUCED call backs.
The Basement Drain Main System is easy to install. Just tap weep holes into the bottom row of blocks along the footing (NO holes needed to be tapped in poured wall foundations) and the system does all the work for you and leaves your customer with a clean, dry basement for years to come.

Basement Drain Main uses two co-extruded rubber seals along the bottom of the system to reduce dumping exterior wall water under the basement floor. Instead of dumping hydrostatic pressure under the basement floor, the Drain Main traps the hydrostatic pressure with the two rubber seals and uses the hydrostatic pressure to drive water to the sump pump.
Three rigid gussets create fluid chambers. As water levels rise into these chambers a water level effect takes over and drives high water towards low water (sump pump) as water always is self-leveling. The three rigid gussets filter debris from floating up into this natural drive mechanism.

Floor and wall cracks seep water primarily because of hydrostatic pressure that feeds in from the end cuts of floor cracks that meet exterior walls. In many cases a simple installation of a sump pump is all it takes to eliminate minor problems.
The Basement Drain Main’s leak guard is a secondary channel to collect back flow from under the footings. The leak guard channel also offers protection against water seepage up through the crack formed by pouring new concrete up against existing concrete.
Draining to a sump pump is simple!
The Drain Main Sump Drop Kit allows you to drain the system to a sump pump with ease. Drain Main Sump Drop Kits consists of three items as pictured. The Drain Main System is easily diverted to a sump pump system with the Sump Drop Kit.
Drain Main System is a stand-alone basement waterproofing system that is installed on top of the basement footing. This rugged system is engineered to collects water entering from underneath the basement floor and joints, a well as, water seepage down the face of the basement walls. The Drain Main is not installed in the dirt, which keeps it running clean and clog-free.
To install the Drain Main System, bust up 6 inches of the basement floor exposing the footing. Place the Drain Main section on top of the footing and install inside and outside corners as needed. Directing and connecting the Drain Main System into a sump pit is easy with the Drain Main Sump Drop Kits. Cover the system up with concrete to finish the job. Most basement waterproofing contractors also install the VaporBright vapor barrier down the length of the basement walls and tuck it back behind the Drain Main System to collect water seepage from the face of the walls.
The floor depth should at least 3 inches thick over the footing when installing the Drain Main. If the floor depth is less than 3 inches on a job you’ll need to use the Drain-Eze and Flat-Track System.
